At the New World Symphony concert hall

Yamaha CFIIIS #7 at the NWS Concert Hall

Yamaha CFIIIS #7 at the NWS Concert Hall

Last night's concert at the New World Symphony was the last pre-season concert before the start of the season. This Yamaha CFIIIS is one of three 9ft concert grands at the NWS. It's been nick-named #7 and was used in the orchestra position. #7 is quite stable with a little touch-up needed in the 5th octave. This piano has a beautiful tone, better than any other Yamaha CFIIIS I've ever met. There's a new concert model from Yamaha called the CFX. We'll see if one ever comes to the NWS concert hall. That would be interesting.
